How the product is used: DORCO Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades are designed for use with a double-edge safety razor. Carefully remove a single blade from its packaging. Unscrew the head of your double-edge safety razor. Carefully place the DORCO Platinum Double Edge Razor Blade onto the posts of the razor head. Ensure it is seated correctly and evenly. Reassemble the razor head, ensuring the blade is held firmly and securely.
Prepare your skin for shaving by washing it with warm water and applying a quality shaving cream or soap to create a lather. Hold the razor at the appropriate angle (usually around 30 degrees) against your skin.
Shave with short, gentle strokes, allowing the weight of the razor to do the work. Shave in the direction of hair growth for the first pass. Subsequent passes can be made against or across the grain for a closer shave, if desired and tolerated. Rinse the blade frequently under warm water during your shave. After shaving, rinse your face with cold water and apply an aftershave balm or lotion. Carefully remove the used blade from the razor and dispose of it safely in a sharps container.
