How the product is used: DERBY PROFESSIONAL Single Edge Razor blades are designed for use with compatible single-edge razors or shavettes. Carefully unwrap a single blade. Following the instructions of your single-edge razor or shavette, carefully insert the blade into the blade holder. Ensure it is securely in place. Prepare the skin for shaving by washing it with warm water and applying a quality shaving cream or soap to create a lather. Hold the razor at the appropriate angle (usually around 30 degrees) against the skin. Shave in the direction of hair growth for the first pass to reduce irritation. For a closer shave, subsequent passes can be made against or across the grain, being careful not to apply too much pressure. Rinse the blade frequently under warm water during shaving. After shaving, rinse the skin with cold water and apply an aftershave balm or lotion to soothe and moisturize.   Carefully remove the used blade from the razor and dispose of it safely in a sharps container.
