How the product is used: Prepare your hair highlighting solution (dye or bleach) according to the manufacturer’s instructions (this is sold separately). Put on the gloves to protect your hands. Place the tipping cap over your head, ensuring it fits snugly. Use the spatula’s needle or hook to carefully pull small strands of hair through the perforations in the tipping cap. The number and placement of strands will determine the look of your highlights. Once the desired strands are pulled through, use the tint brush to apply the highlighting solution evenly to the exposed hair.
Follow the processing time instructions provided with your highlighting solution. Rinse the highlighting solution out of your hair while the tipping cap is still on. Carefully remove the tipping cap and rinse your hair thoroughly. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual. Clean the highlighting tools (brush, spatula) with soap and water after use. The tipping cap and gloves are typically disposable or can be rinsed and reused with care.
