How to Use: Wet the hair and apply a generous amount of conditioner to help detangle the hair and make it easier for the comb to glide through. Some sources advise against conditioner before chemical treatments. Use a regular comb to remove any knots or tangles from the hair. Section the hair into small, manageable parts (about 1-inch wide). Starting at the scalp, place the teeth of the lice comb as close to the scalp as possible. Slowly and carefully draw the comb through the entire length of the hair section, from roots to tips. After each stroke, wipe the comb onto a white paper towel or tissue to check for lice and nits. Remove any lice or nits from the comb by rinsing it in hot, soapy water or wiping it clean before the next stroke. Repeat the combing process on each section of hair multiple times to ensure thorough removal. After combing all sections, rinse the hair. Clean the lice comb thoroughly with hot, soapy water or by soaking it in hot water (above 130°F) for 5-10 minutes to kill any remaining lice or nits.
